Reclaiming old space for new life.
ARK is teaming up with St Saviours on a journey of restoring and regenerating their Hall for the community in Finsbury Park - creating a space that builds genuine community, supports creativity and highlights local artists.

Launching with a pop up coffee and gallery space this summer, inviting our local community to experience this unique space, get involved and shape its future. For those with a historical curiosity, you can explore the rich and varied past of the hall here.
1800s
In the late-1800βs St Saviours was a flourishing centre for community providing a Sunday School for working children, a Band of Hope, Clothing clubs and a Penny Bank. The Hall was a space designed to engage with theses needs, being a centre of community for local families & serving those who were underprivileged.
1900s
Throughout the years the hall has had a colourful and vibrant history. At different points the hall has served as a theatre, gymnasium and venue for weddings, birthdays and celebrating life events in the community.
2000s
Over the past 30 years the hall has fallen into a state of disrepair, and we are on a journey to restore this building to its original beauty and purpose. Our hope is that it can become a space for forging community & celebrating the creativity of our neighbourhood.
We are fundraising to bring the site back into life.
